Wall Clock
Created for an Amazon AR and VR product pipeline, this asset pairs a clean hard-surface structure with detailed decorative accents. The main house-shaped frame and clock components were built efficiently in Maya, focusing on sharp, straight edges and clean topology. The stylized characters on the front panel were modeled using low-polygon geometry that closely tracks their iconic silhouettes. This approach ensures that the miniature figures look accurate and recognizable while keeping the overall mesh optimized and lightweight for web-based 3D viewers.
The texturing uses a standard PBR workflow to establish clear material separation across the product. A realistic light wood grain with a soft, natural matte finish covers the main housing, creating a stark contrast against the painted surfaces of the characters. I authored distinct roughness and base color maps for the miniature figures on the front, making their colors pop and giving them a smooth, satin-like paint finish that accurately represents the physical collector's item.
