Tufted Chair

Created for an Amazon AR and VR product pipeline, this asset balances detailed fabric upholstery with an efficient real-time mesh. The workflow integrated Z-Brush to sculpt the natural folds, fabric tension, and deep diamond-tufting on the backrest, ensuring organic realism before baking the details onto the optimized low-poly model. This approach, along with baking the fine nailhead trim along the seams, allowed the asset to preserve high-fidelity visual depth without increasing the final polygon count for web-based 3D viewers.

The texturing follows a clean PBR workflow to realistically represent the physical furniture materials. I authored a detailed fabric texture for the cream cushions, dialing in the roughness to give it an authentic, soft matte finish under interactive lighting. This contrasts with the semi-gloss, natural wood grain applied to the structural base and legs, producing an accurate digital replica ready for e-commerce deployment.
