Laundry Basket
This production asset was built to strict real-time and technical specifications for an Amazon AR and VR experience pipeline. The primary focus of the project was balancing absolute visual accuracy with high-performance real-time optimization. The main modeling challenge involved creating clean, highly efficient topology for the metal wire frame to ensure a low polygon count while maintaining perfectly smooth, rounded profiles that look flawless in interactive environments.
For the materials, I focused on high-fidelity, photorealistic PBR texturing to match exact real-world product specifications. I tuned the roughness and grain maps for the wooden lid to give it an authentic satin sheen, contrasting it against the clean, low-gloss white powder coating of the metal basket. The graphic text on the lid was cleanly integrated into the texture maps to ensure sharpness and legibility from any viewing distance or angle.
