Digital Painting baby portrait

A fully digital portrait of a child in a hooded animal-ear towel, painted in Photoshop. I wanted to catch the exact moment of wide-eyed surprise before it passed.

The hard part was the hair. Getting those loose flyaway strands to read as soft rather than scratchy meant painting them individually against the fluffy white fabric.
