Authentic Chinese Vase

Developed for an Amazon AR and VR commercial catalog, this asset focuses on a clean cylindrical structure optimized for web-based 3D viewers. The modeling was simple and direct, using a low-polygon cylinder with localized edge loops to define the rim and base. The main objective was maintaining perfectly distributed geometry to prevent shading distortions on a highly reflective surface while keeping the file lightweight.

The texturing uses a standard PBR workflow to cleanly capture a polished lacquer appearance. I applied a deep, high-gloss black base coat, adjusting the roughness map to create sharp specular highlights and reflections. The gold decorative artwork was integrated directly into the texture maps, using the metallic and roughness channels to give the patterns a distinct, metallic sheen that stands out against the dark, reflective surface.
